Same would actually hold true in the 2012 Iowa caucus entrance poll, if you took out the Paul voters.  Among non-Paul voters in Iowa this year, Santorum won the youngs, and Romney the olds.


I get Romney is the candidate of the old, and i guess he won it by process of elimination, but it still throws me for a curveball.

All name recognition at this point. But people should get going early if they want to win the logistical battle and therefore the nomination war.
