Glad to see the conservative media have finally dropped their idol worship of this Giuliani impersonator.

Considering Drudge's record of late, if he's opposing Christie, that has to increase his chances of being elected President in 2016.

Hm? Drudge was clearly on Romney's side during the primaries.

I must have missed the recounts that have made Romney President-elect.

Drudge's support was much, much more helpful in the primary than it was hurtful in the general election.

Drudge is a hack and an idiot.  Who cares if he went on SNL.  What else is he supposed to do at 11:00 on a Saturday?

That's because you aren't morbidly obese. That kinda of limits your options.

He's going the way of Charlie Crist.

Loved by conservatives, but while he's trying to get his name out there for the election, he says a few nice things about Obama, has a photo-op with him and the base knifes his chances.

It probably was a little too soon, but it isn't a major problem.

So Christie not going to be the GOP nominee in 2016 after all? Nice.

And of course, Rmoney couldn't have won the primaries without Drudge.  Roll Eyes

I'mt tired of this now by the GOP. I know the GOP Base doesn't like Obama but Christie had to do what was best for NJ.

More moderate purging?  At this rate, Dems will have a party ID majority.

This is what I don't get. How are they going to appeal to minorities when they are always listening to the far right flank in the party. I mean they want to primary Saxby Cambliss(R-GA) of all people  with Rep Tom Price next cycle. How do you expect to get anything done when you can't work with the other party? Answer is you can't. I expected the GOP to get it this time. The GOP is right that their ground game is way behind the Dems in presidential years(in the last 2 cycles I think the GOP means) but their platform needs some tweaking(i.e. moderate) to appeal to minorities. Most minorities probably agree with the GOP that we have a spending problem but listening to Grover Norquist(no new taxes) is where the GOP loses their argument on fiscal issues.

I vote Republican mostly. The reason I won't register as a Republican is because of the religious right, and now the far right on taxing. I live in NJ so I don't care for some of the GOP's southern base on wedge issues.
