Would the state start as tossup instead of lean D?

Maine Republicans did exactly this in 2011 though voters repealed the repeal through a veto referendum (something Wisconsin doesn't have). Gotta love states' (voting) rights.

It is so sad that the GOP solution isn't to find a way to appeal to the larger expanding electorate but to shrink the electorate.

California is going the opposite way, and will have same day registration. Of course that'll have no impact on who wins the Presidential race. It could affect Propositions and Congressional races.

Well, they're not wrong - disenfranchisement is their only hope with the current extremist platform.

The GOP continues to work overtime to steal elections, both present and future.
