I'm taking requests for precinct maps for counties. I am limited by time and the data available, however, so I make no guarantees. If anyone else desires, they can also post precinct maps in this thread. Here are three to start off with.

Franklin County, Ohio:

Clark County, Nevada:

Fulton, DeKalb, and Gwinnett counties, Georgia:

I think a prop 30 precinct map of Los Angeles county would be very interesting.

How about Hamilton County, Ohio.  Also wouldn't mind seeing Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, Dallas County, Texas, or Jefferson County, Kentucky.  Those are ones I am guessing like Franklin County have a strong urban vs. suburban divide.

I strongly second Allegheny County.

Where are you getting these precinct maps? If I could get some blank ones I'd be willing to make some of my own for some Minnesota counties...

Allegheny County, Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh):

Looks like the suburbs went pretty much for Romney so Obama must have gained in the city itself as I seem to recall in 2004 and 2008 and the Allegheny County suburbs were pretty evenly split down the middle.  Anyone know the actual percentages in Pittsburgh vs. the rest of the county?

Pittsburgh itself voted 75.69% Obama, 22.37% Romney. The rest of the county voted 50.51% Obama, 48.20% Romney.

In 2008, Pittsburgh voted 75.23% Obama, 23.44% McCain, so it did swing to Obama this time. The suburbs rest of the county voted 51.23% Obama, 47.47% McCain, a slight swing to the Romney this time.

I'll nitpick slightly about the term 'suburbs'. The rest of the county includes municipalities just east of the city line like Wilkinsburg that are no more suburban or less urban than, say, Compton.

But thanks for the stats! Smiley

The last real bellweather county (that actually votes close to the national resuls) keeps its streak alive.

Testing the theory of my last post

Pike County, Kentucky:

Is there one for Campbell County? (The only one I've seen shows which candidate won each precinct. It doesn't show by how much.)
