It would be great to see them actually work together...wishful thinking of course

Why? Romney is just some unemployed dude with a big fortune, he's not elected by the American people to any office and he do not work for any public authority.

While I would like to see Romney get a high profile (maybe even a cabinet) position, I feel like this will probably be to maybe see if he can get his supporters to back Obama's position on the fiscal cliff.

Sad I wish they were meeting under different circumstances.

Regardless of the outcome, I will always be a supporter of Mitt Romney.

That must be painful, being taken into the Oval Office and all. I can't help but feel this is a sadistic ruse on Obama's part. It's like being invited to your unrequited love's wedding.

It'd be hilarious if Mitt Romney became Secretary of something.

Better yet. With Patrick retiring in 2014, Romney will run as a liberal Democrat.

Well, Mitt has been, by all accounts, a liberal Republican, a moderate Republican, somewhat of an independent, a conservative Republican, a severe conservative, so why not a liberal Democrat as his newest embodiment?

I'm glad you saw the light at last! Smiley

You'd think they could get the Oval Office less ugly couches.

Obama wants to be on Mount Rushmore. He'll do whatever it takes to look like a great leader, even if it means working with Romney over some non-issue.

I hardly think working with Romney would make anyone look like a great leader.

"The meeting is expected to be a tense one, especially considering Romney's recent support for Team Edward at the final Twilight film." - Rachel Maddow

I know just enough about Twilight to know there were two rivals for the idiot's affection.  I presume Edward was the loser?

Clearly a case where for once having the First Lady inserting herself into Oval Office business would be a good thing.
