and you will have the adulation of the entire forum for life.

This will likely be the most widely publicized birth of the decade.

Baby boy James

Baby girl Diana

James- no- too Catholic.

Diana- we'd never hear then of Theodore Dalryimples' complaints.

Citing the background of the Scottish referendum, something Scottish- Alexander, Robert, or David. That way, when the son becomes king, we would have a King Alexander IV or a Robert III or David III. Actually, scratch Robert.

Women? Alexandra, Mary, Caroline, Charlotte. or my personal favourite, Adelaide.

The name in all certainty will either come from this list if a boy. Or this list if a girl.

Girl would be Elizabeth, almost guaranteed. Equally certain it will not be Diana.

Boy could be John or a derivative, but I think it might be a Christian/Christopher.

Amusingly enough, the Royal Family consideres the name John to be "cursed" because of King John (lol) and the more relatively recently deceased Prince John (son of George V). Apparently, Diana wanted to give one of her children the name John, after her father, the Earl Spencer.

Kevin.

In all seriousness, Elizabeth would be my guess as well. How about Philip for a boy? Or Andrew? Maybe George.

She would be James VIII.

A boy will of course be named Victoria.

A boy - George or Edward, probably George as there's already an Edward in the current family.

A girl - Jane

boy - George, if not William

girl - Elizabeth, most likely. I wouldn't count out Diana, though. Were a baby girl to inherit the throne, however, she would likely change her name.

Elizabeth II has been the center of attention long enough.  There is no point in carrying on with the name for another 80 years by naming the new child, if a girl, by that name.

At the passing of the queen, and I wish her a long life, it will be time for a new beginning, a new era, out with the old, in with the new, and that new beginning can begin with a new name.

Will and Kate should name their child whatever name they want, without any influence or approval of the queen.

Too controversial, raises the issue of whether she'd be Jane I or Jane II, which no one is interested in discussing.

I think William and Elizabeth are the most likely names, though George and Mary are also quite likely. The name will be extremely conservative, of course. If we have to choose from past regnal names, I'm gunning for Constantine, but that seems... unlikely.

If the kid actually had to do something for a living, I would advice its parents that they give him/her a white name so that his HR actually look at his resume when he applies for a job.  But since it will s/he will never have to work in his/her life, they should give him/her a black name.  I think Jamal is a cool name.

I think Reginald and Maurice would be white and upper middle class in England. Funny that they are considered black in the US.

Anyway Prince Jamal Reginald DeShawn has a nice ring to it.
