Generally speaking, a huge FF socially and fiscally. However, his foreign policy was crap.

Agreed, but to play Devil's advocate, it was only a few years after the missile crisis...

Which is all the more reason his position on nuclear weapons was absolutely frightening. 

I say FF for his spirited defense of liberty and limited government, but it's probably a good thing he didn't become president even as horrible as LBJ was.
