Just because the Republican party has gone far right doesn't mean those who are moderates are automatically Democrats. He certainly isn't a Republican though, we can agree on that.

Presumably, in the clear majority of cases, my opinion of [person x] (where person x is a randomly selected human-being) is significantly lower than [person x's] opinion of [person x.] This is especially true of [person x]s who are politicians.
