Today I announce that I am a candidate for the Forum Republican Nomination for Vice President. I run today to propose new policy for the forum.

(Murmur from press)

In the spirit of Herbert Hoover, Barry Goldwater, and Ronald Reagan I enter this race to oppose big spending lobbyist, activist judges, leftist professors, and bearded Socialist!

(Applause by a few)

It is today that I enter to preserve the memory of those who have given their lives to America from the War of Independence to the War on Terror. I enter to remember the proud history of the United States, the greatest nation on earth.

(Applause)

I enter today to assure freedom to all people. I enter to oppose terrorism and Communism here and abroad. I enter to give the people of this forum a Conservative choice for Vice President.

In the spirit of Herbert Clark Hoover I state what he said so many years ago, “Being a politician is a poor profession, being a public servant is a noble one.” As vice president I will ignore any or all politicians who sate, “This will be good for you politically.” I will have none of that. This is a forum by the people, for the people, and of the people, and I’m going to give this government to the people as vice president.
