Discussing countries is more fun than discussing leaders.

Most right-wing country. Not the most backwards country I can think of and attach to the other ideology to bash it.

How about some non-crazy countries that someone from that ideology would actually like?

U.S. is probably the farthest-right first-world country.

Yay, I love to win! Kiki

Right-Wing Economically: Singapore, although Hong Kong wins if you fudge 'country'.
Right-Wing Socially: Heck, it may be Saudi Arabia, although the Pushtuns probably have them beat as a group.
Right-Wing Combined: Not certain.
Left-Wing, overall: North Korea or Cuba.

Lesson: the extremes are scary, children. Shocked

P.S. Fine, Phillip: Chile (today's Chile) for the right. Probably Denmark or the Netherlands for the left. Liechenstein for the libertarians.

The Pushtuns are an ethnic group in Pakistan and Afghanistan. They're the ones who the Taliban sprouted from. That should answer that question. Wink

Well, I think there's no taxation at all in Liechenstein, so I picked them. Maybe Monaco would be a better choice...

Not sure who'd be most libertarian. A few nations have libertarian elements here and there, but they stray enough in certain areas to make them non-libertarian.

I don't know what the hell Liechenstein is, and neither does Wikipedia.

I checked in the CIA world factbook and there is no New America. And then I checked the UN and they have no delegation. And it isn't on WIkipedia. And...

Aw, OK. Vatican gets the right-wing nation?

Left-wing: North Korea
Left-wing democratic: Sweden, for near-universal support of the welfare state
Right-wing: Saudi Arabia, perhaps Iran
Right-wing democratic: Israel, for the most diverse and dominant right in the free world
Libertarian: perhaps the Netherlans.

I laugh at the idiots that think Saudi Arabia and Singapore are right wing countries.

To those I ask a simple question: how do you define right-wing?

Whether it occurs in a trailer park or in public doesn't matter.

Saudi Arabia - please point me to a more socially conservative country. Does such a country exist?

Singapore - ranked #2 in economic freedom, yet certainly not socially liberal

A lot of people seem to be laughing at you.

Signapore and Saudi Arabia are both extremely restrictive on social issues. This is generally considered right-wing (authoritarian) in America - enforcing what they see as "moral values" onto the population.

Anything taken to extremes will be bad, Richius. You aren't going to find the coolest country ever.
