Yes, even though I don't for any of the British posters (which is just as well, since I doubt any of them talk that way anyway.)

I live sort of near Missouri, so of course not. Nothing British about St. Louis. Heck, it was a French town. And the French are known for their hookers, guillotines, and leftist politics. If anything he's a bit of a frog, but not even that. He's as American as they come.

It has to do with his grammar, not where he lives of course. Then again he obviously doesn't sound like a Missouri redneck either. People in St. Louis considering the region probably sound like newscasters, the accent that everyone thinks is default and Americans are "supposed" to have is only naturally found around that region.

I tend to think of Opebo being having more of a working class accent charachter that somehow got into Oxbridge and became sophisticated in his perversion.

No, no working class accent here.  Plain old newscaster English - I didn't absorb either the rural Missouri accent (warsh), or the working class St. Louis accent (fardie-fahr = 44).

Yeah... I wouldn't have done that if I'd have seen that Simfan had responded.  Although once I killed off the first post, I just figured it'd be best to kill them off.

A helpful hint - if you're really offended by a post, don't quote it after reporting it.

Oh I know that you have a plain newscaster accent, but if you lived in the UK that's what I would expect a character like yourself to have. It just seems that anyone from British royalty is anti-fun and boring in general, so I can't imagine you having RP. I wouldn't be even surprised if hypothetical UK opebo had a Scottish accent.

That should earn a person about 75 death points, negative 12 internet points, their ability to report posts removed and a special thread to mock them.

No, but it's something like the picture below. Or like how when you read you can get into the character and start reading their parts in the accent they were described to have. It does require an imagination though, and also probably not having killed your inner child.
