The Hillary love here is absolutely outrageous. NO WAY she wins in 2016. Bet the house that she doesn't even get Dem nomination if she runs (Which she won't). She isn't the shining face of the Democratic party. There WAS a reason she didn't win in '08.

Huh? Lief has been one of the biggest Hillary advocates on here.

Any way, it's a good thing a lot of you don't write headlines. Stick with whatever you usually do.

Chris Christie elected President, Martin O'Malley concedes defeat

After an emotional campaign, Governor Chris Christie of New Jersey was elected President of the United States in a decisive election win. Running on economic growth, fiscal discipline, tax reform, and education reform, the New Jersey Governor and running-mate Senator Marco Rubio of Florida claimed victory. Speaking to an enthusiastic crowd of about 1,200 in East Rutherford, New Jersey, Governor Christie stated that he was "Thankful for the hard work my team did, and for all the volunteers and voters who have helped me get to this moment. Tonight, we begin moving our nation in a better direction." Meanwhile, in Baltimore, Maryland, Governor Martin O'Malley and running-mate Senator Kay Hagan (D-NC) conceded defeat. O'Malley, who ran as a left-wing candidate who pledged to defend abortion rights and provide health insurance to every single american, told voters that "Despite the results tonight, we must continue to fight for the values we believe in."

Christie/Rubio (R) 53% 294 EV
O'Malley/Hagan (D) 46% 244 EV

Sec. Clinton Storms Through the Glass Ceiling
Americans elect their first female president in a landslide; Rubio concedes
Clinton expected to pass 400 electoral votes; Democrats gain 5 Senate seats; House too close to call

A difficult campaign ended at 9pm last night as former Secretary of State, former Senator and former First Lady Hillary Clinton was declared the winner of the Presidential Election. Secretary Clinton is expected to win at least 388 electoral votes and approximately 57% of the popular vote, with states still to be declared.

Speaking in Times Square, New York, Secretary Clinton thanked her husband, former President Bill Clinton, her daughter Chelsea in the first presidential victory speech to be given by a woman. Thanks were also made to her one-time rival President Obama, a key surrogate of Mrs. Clinton. Following a campaign plagued by infighting, Senator Rubio conceded shortly after 9pm as returns from New York and the mid-west handed Secretary Clinton her 270th electoral vote and with it, the presidency. Messages of congratulation immediately poured in from President Obama, Vice President Biden and others for Clinton and her running mate, Brian Schweitzer.

As one of the most prolific politicians in American history, with 37 years of public service propelling her, many have said that the new President-elect's victory has been the longest in the making of any President.

Clinton promised to ensure the economic recovery endures, telling the crowd that she would "once again make the American Dream a reality".

Oh Hillary!

Christie elected President, Hillary Clinton concedes election defeat

After a hard fought campaign, Governor Chris Christie of New Jersey and running-mate Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida defeated the democratic ticket, Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Senator Bob Casey Jr. of Pennsylvania. Though Ms. Clinton was ahead in the polls for much of the summer, a series of documents recalling the 2012 attack on the American consulate in Libya brought Ms. Clinton's leadership abilities into question. While Mr. Christie never formally acknowledged these documents, many republicans did, and even some democrats expressed disappointment that Ms. Clinton played a "cover up game" for the Obama administration. Aspects of Hillary Clinton's past also came to light in the fall; she was alleged to be involved in efforts for the U.S. to stop competing in the cold war, and questions about her involvement in some shady investment deals in the early 1990s, questions which were raised during her husbands 1992 presidential campaign, were brought up again. Clinton conceded defeat, thanking supporters for "giving me a voice and for giving me your votes." Running on a platform of fiscal discipline, tax reform, education reform, and growing the economy, Governor Chris Christie accepted victory. "I want to thank the American people for the honor which you have given me. Tonight, the journey of moving in a better direction begins."

Christie/Rubio (R) 52% 281 EV
Clinton/Casey Jr. (D) 47% 257 EV

Must say it's refreshing to have a Clinton defeat. Makes a change to the Hillary-maniacs saying she is unbeatable.

People are left wondering who will be the next President

Millions are left wondering who will be the next President, as the results ended with a tie in the Electoral Votes. Both Gov. Martinez and Gov. O'Mally have yet to speak on the outcome.

Susana Martinez(R-NM)/Brian Sandoval(R-NV): 269 EV , 49.8% PV
Martin O'Mally(D-MD)/Brian Schweitzer(D-MT): 269 EV, 48.9% PV

Now that's doubling down with Hispanics lol, actually might be a good idea for the GOP.
