10% and Gomez is leading, but nothing out of Suffolk County yet.

I really hope Gomez pulls it off. That would be epic.

That would, but it's going to at the least be a very tight race once Boston and more of the immediate liberal suburbs come in, I'm watching this like a hawk.

It won't happen. As Nate Cohn just said on Twitter, Gomez is overperforming Brown '12 in central MA and underperforming him everywhere else. Markey will win.

21% reporting and still Gomez lead of 6%. Still more of the big cities need to come in... Some of the suburbs have though.

So far, it is just that there is almost nothing from either Boston or inner suburbs.

Markey's overperforming Warren around eastern Mass. I'm mildly worried at best.

Still nothing out of Boston, and Gomez lead is down to under 6 thousand votes. I wouldn't worry, if I were a Dem.

Yes.  It is pretty clear Markey will win based on current trends.  On the other hand the results so far seems to show that Markey's margin of victory will most likely be in the single digits.

Gomez is looking like he'll outperform Brown but not win based on current results.  You could say that the polls got this wrong and quite possibly affected the result (by depressing R turnout).

We have another thread for this! And intelligent people post there, not here. So let me alone here. Thanks.

I think if Gomez gets 45%, it will be a good night for republicans. Dems got this in the bag, so it will be a good night for them.
