Years Arkansas went GOP:

1868, 1872, 1972, 1980,  1984, 1988, 2000, 2004

It didn't vote in 1864.
It went for Wallace in 1968.

That might be the least of any state that pre-dates the GOP.

Hawaii has gone Republican only in 1972 and 1984.


Vermont's over all record since they put in the popular vote:
Republiacn 33 times
Democrat 5 times
Parties that no longer exist 7 times
