Once again I ask where was Gustaf and his white knighting after those Sandra Fluke threads? Funnily some of his least favorite posters (including opebo and Lief) were calling out the misogyny then.

Well, I would exactly call what opebo was doing "calling out the misogyny":

I have to admit, it was one of the funnier parts of that overall nauseating thread.

Well I was thinking largely of the one that was deleted, though of course I can't link to it now. opebo definitely got a good one off in this one though: https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=158949.0

Not bad until she starts talking. And the things she says are kind of a dealbreaker.

Wink

One has to doubt that such an attractive and intelligent young woman would be interested in this type of 'deal' with either of you even if your impertinent mouths were taped shut.

I assume you mean "wouldn't" rather than "would"?

And, yeah, the Fluke thread was quite probably the worst thing I've ever seen on the Atlas.

While I certainly don't claim to fully understand what it's like to be a woman or an ethnic minority I at least understand that it's a problem

Being a woman/minority is a problemHuh That's very rude! You trolling us?

You know full well what he meant, and you're deliberately misinterpreting this quote.
I have no idea what he means. There are aspects of being a woman that I'm sure are challenging just as there are aspects of being a man that pose difficulty. To be frank, I'm not enamored with the idea of getting shipped off to war. That doesn't make being a man a problem. Nor is being a women or Hispanic or whatever some giant cross to bear. And it is extremely insulting to suggest that it is. But I think it tells you a lot about his mindset. I'm sure Gus would not appreciate being told that being Swedish is a problem. I would certainly never make that claim.

It's beyond obvious that he meant it's a problem in that it puts you at an inherent disadvantage in society compared to being a white male in a comparable position.

Takes a big man to not be riled by harsh criticism from a friend.  Hat's off to you, you ol' woman-hater.
