No end to that era here.

My town has a drive in, but it has kept up with the times. They added FM radio to carry the stereo sound as an alternative to the window speakers. This winter they're installing a digital projector to be ready in March when they reopen for the season. They also claim the largest outdoor screen in the US still in operation.
