We just got through with Christmas and New Year's just a month ago, but according to the calendar, we have 15 days until Lent begins on Wednesday, February 13, 2013.

For Christians, Lent is the season of preparation for Easter which is 10 weeks from yesterday on Sunday, March 31, 2013.
