What is your waist size, Bushie?

In Jeans size, I wear 40, but they are just a tad big, but 38's a just a tad small.  I'd say probably 39.

Bulls***.  I am about the same height as you (perhaps slightly taller), you outweigh me by more than 100lbs, and I wear a 31 or 32.  No way or you even in the zipcode of a 39 or 40.

Indeed, I am Size 40.  Thing is my weight is all in my belly.  My waist is only slightly larger than normal.  I can take a picture of my jean size and post it on here if that would make a difference.

Come on, man, stop eating! Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels! I'm 6'1" 165 lbs and have a 29" waist. Yes, I do work out a lot (it's my job ostensibly), but I also don't starve myself. It's possible to do it Bushie. You just need a little will power and a physical activity you can be passionate about.

You can do it, JUST DO IT.

In less than 48 hours, Bushie, you get fired, inform your landlord you're moving, pack up your whole apartment, cancel your cable, and leave Utah for OK, but it takes more than 2 days to switch bedrooms with your father?   Roll Eyes

It is quite believable.  I wear a 38 and I only weigh about 185 or so.  I just have wide, womanly hips and a preferance for a very roomy, hanging from the hips fit.  I remember angus metnioning he has about  28 inch waist, and these Oklahomans in general wear their pants tight, cowboy style.  Bushie may have  small hips but overlaid by a  lot fat, while Torie may have been less fat, but with a wider bone structure.

I'm looking at Torie right now and you are completely wrong about his bone structure. So that theory doesn't work. This is Sbane btw. We had a great lunch in La Jolla today.

Well remember, boys - tis better to visit the 'Sauna' on an empty stomach, don'tcha know.

Haha, no we did not visit the sauna. Is that what you would like to do when you meet up with Torie?

Alright, I'll post a picture before the end of the week.

Dude, it was a joke... I don't actually care what your pants size is.

More likely a snoring/need some personal space thing. On the topic of religion and strange sleeping habits, my ultra-Orthodox aunt and uncle slept in the same room but in separate beds, just like in 1950s sitcoms.

Couple things, I immediately thought b.s. too.  I'm sure you have a very forgiving pair of jeans. Throw you in some suit pants and you probably shoot right up. "Loose" fit American clothes really take liberties on sizes.  Also I'm sure you wear your pants very low, having your gut hang over and making your legs look like a midget.

IIRC, you tended to look like you had very little muscle tone so your height/weight/waist dimensions do not make sense.

No, Dress slacks I'm at a 40, as well.  I wear my pants around my waist.  I do not sag at all.  As soon as I get the rooms switched, I will post a picture of my jeans and slacks size.  FTR, my Dad wears size 36 in both jeans and slacks.

I was so stupid earlier this afternoon. I was trying to slice up an apple for a snack, but instead my right first finger ended up getting sliced... So, a nice band aid now wraps around the finger... Pretty sure I heard the apple laughing...

God has sent Bushie a sign. Unfortunately, He is displeased with Bushie's attempts to become healthier. Bushie should repent and drive down to the Golden Corral immediately, lest he anger God further.

Well, we've successfully swapped rooms and now we're just relaxing.  Mom is about ready to go to bed as it is her bed time oddly enough (at 7:30!!).  I definitely have a lot more room in here than I did in my previous room.  Dad lost a lot of space by switching into my old room, but he just uses his bedroom for, well, sleeping.  I use my room for sleeping, watching tv, computer surfing, job hunting headquarters, etc.  Tomorrow on the agenda is a little house cleaning followed by some light job search.  Due to some alarming medical news Mom received on Wednesday, we have also started a diet together.  For starters, we are all drinking between 6-10 glasses of water a day, eating far less meat limiting it to 6-8 oz daily, greatly increasing our vegetable and our fruit intake.  We are also trying to limit the starch and the carbohydrates.  I go in Monday morning at 9:10 am for some blood work to test me for the third time in as many years for diabetes (first time under the care of this Indian Doctor), they're also going to test my thyroid as well as other levels.  I go in Wednesday evening at 4:00 pm for the real visit with the doctor.  Monday, my Grandmother is going to come over and we'll walk for about 30 minutes around the property.  Its supposed to be cool on Monday near 50, but warm up the rest of the week into 70's.  It should remain dry after tomorrow's rain.

I hope your mom is ok. Try to make your food intake reasonable. There's no point in starting anything unsustainable. Focus on quality meats and whole grains. There's a huge nutritional difference between a hotdog on a white bun and a piece of roasted chicken with brown rice.

I'll save you some time... you have diabetes.

Anyway, what's the medical news your mom got? Also hope she's okay.

She's got 29% kidney functionality.  If it drops below 20%, it probably means dialysis.

Sorry to hear. Renal issues are awful! I had a teacher in high school who had a kidney transplant. People on dialysis have to avoid drinking water as much as possible because they can't process it and retain the fluid. Why is your mother trying to drink a lot of water?

The doctor told her that she was drinking way too much diet coke and needed to start drinking water while she can.  She's not on dialysis, yet, and she's also trying to calm her diabetes down, which may be a contributor to the poor kidney function.

I'm doing better.  Not where I want to be that's for sure, but better than what I was doing by myself.
