Seeing as I've now got an opponent, I'd like to welcome Poirot to the race.

As always, feel free to ask questions.

*Blows off dust*

Anyway, I've recently announced that I'm seeking another term as the Northeast's regional senator. As always, feel free to ask any questions.

I'd just like to welcome Deus to the race, I'm looking forward to an active campaign, and possibly a debate at some point in the future?

Once again, you can count on my support. Smiley

Thank you, everyone, for your support.

And, as always, I'm happy to take any questions.

I like the idea of a debate. As I understand it, the election will be held on June 19-20, so maybe we should hold the debate sometime around June 1 (about half way through the campaign)?

Those of you who are following the campaign will have seen that my opponent, Speaker Deus is releasing a sort of manifesto, detailing where he stands on the issues. I commend him for his commitment, it's always good to see someone campaigning vigorously for an office. I, however, will not be doing this. For one thing, having been involved in the northeast for nearly 2 years, I think my views on most issues are well known. As a sort of quick summary:

  • I'm left wing, I favour, though realise it'll never pass, an NHS style healthcare system,
  • I'm a big proponent of using the state to help the homeless (I was the sponsor of the act that guaranteed every Northeast citizen shelter)
  • I like to give the administration a large amount of leeway when it comes to the cabinet/supreme court
  • I support regional consolidation, a new constitution, and a limited reboot

As well though, I will be making at least one statement at some point before the debates, which should make clearer why I won't be doing a detailed manifesto, and that's on the issue of game reform.

Also, I will at some point over the next week work through and respond to Deus's policies, and offer a few critique's.

Finally, if there is any doubt about where I stand on issue, feel free to ask a question. I don't bite Tongue
