PPP Democratic primary poll of Montana:

http://www.publicpolicypolling.com/main/2013/02/montana-miscellany.html

Clinton 58%
Schweitzer 22%
Biden 9%
Warren 5%
Cuomo 3%
O'Malley 1%
Patrick 1%

If Clinton doesn't run:

Schweitzer 35%
Biden 28%
Warren 13%
Warner 5%
Cuomo 4%
Gillibrand 1%

Partick 0%

If neither Biden nor Clinton run:

Schweitzer 46%
Warren 18%
Cuomo 12%
Warner 3%
O'Malley 2%
Gillibrand 1%
Patrick 1%

In the scenario where Clinton doesn't run, who wins among….

In such a small, retail-politics state, I find this surprising. I would have expected Schweitzer to be neck-and-neck with Clinton and leading Biden by a large margin.

This poll just reaffirms how inevitable Clinton looks to be as the Democratic nominee even against someone as popular in Montana as Schweitzer. At least he does slightly better than Biden does against Clinton when you compare the other national and state polls, but that isn't really saying much at all.

It seems like Warren is slowly creeping up in the state primary polls.

Clinton is unbeatable everywhere. End of story.
