Back when I used to post on a different political forum, the assistant principal of my hs also was apparently an avid reader of said forum, and figured out that my posts were me based on some things I had posted. So he told my parents when he met them that he was a huge fan of some stuff about politics I had written online. My parents didn't know about this at the time, not because I was hiding it from them, but because like your average 15 year old my conversations with them were usually limited to:

Anyway, when the assistant principal told them this, they were like "wtf, our son [at the time] is famous on the internet and we had no clue". It was really hilarious when they told me about their conversation with this guy. I had no idea what they were talking about because they were under the impression from talking with him that I was famous and writing stuff that thousands of people were reading, when really I just happened to be one of the better posters on this forum.

Nowadays, no, people don't know I post here.

Yeah, I was also keeping up my younger brother about the Atlasia drama back when I was active there (especially in the Hamilton days). I also told him about some of the most hilarious episodes on the forum (like the BBCgate, or some of the dramas surrounding sock accounts). I also share with the whole family all the cute kitten/rabbit pictures that happen to be posted here.

I may have made passing mentions to my parents. My sister knows, and she thinks it's stupid. She can't really say anything though, because she's a cosplayer who orders wigs and coloured contact lenses online.

My housemates know though, and they're pretty non-judgmental. They did share a few laughs about the specificity of the Federalist Party by-laws though, but I'm sure a few Atlasians did too. Tongue
