What's Ted's opinion on the death penalty?  How is that different than drone attacks?  I like talking filibusters, but Cruz is a hypocrite.

I'm not opposed to getting rid of the filibuster, but they should actually force them to read the phone book (or nowadays Twitter) at 4 AM.

Lack of due process, I'd assume.

So he's running in 2016.  He had to do something that would separate him from other Republicans.  Lets see how this affects his polling numbers.

I mean, yeah, but the dude has always been on the civil liberties thing for his entire political career, like his father.

Something about Barry Goldwater looking down on them from Heaven and having faith in them??? He just used the word gestalt but I think he meant to use the word zeitgeist?? And in conclusion, Ted Cruz's question to Rand Paul is: "What, in your judgment, is America without liberty? What are we, if not a free people?"

Oh jesus christ. Marco Rubio: "I didn't bring my Shakespeare books, so let me begin by quoting a modern poet, Whiz Khalifa."

Uh... is Rubio admitting that he and all the other Republicans (minus Paul) are hypocrites who wouldn't be up there right now if Bush were still in office?

Rubio just mentioned Wiz Khalifa.

He would be better served by following the example of Dr. Cain when it comes to quotes from pop culture:

Ingredients of a Rubio senate speech:

One (1) Whiz Khalifa verse
One (1) Jay-Z verse
Three (3) Godfather quotes

Liberally douse with nonsensical BS, serve immediately.

I like how all the possible 2016 contenders are now hopping on the Rand Paul train. Now Thune is speaking.
