LOL. I have to laugh at the idea that:

1-Anyone in the media finds this even surprising, just like after Michael Phelps and Justin Bieber. A 22-year old smoking a joint in surprising in what way again?
2-That anyone would get upset over this.

Nobody in the media finds this surprising, BRTD. Rather they play it up for shock value because it sells their tabloids.

More importantly, I think it speaks a good deal about you that you think this is something you need to notify us about.

Actually the main reason I did is because it greatly improves my opinion of her. She's also clearly a great person in addition to being a great actress and cute as hell.

(Assuming that's actually a joint, not a menthol cigarette of course.)

Why would smoking pot improve your opinion of her? Much less greatly improve it? It's not like smoking pot makes you a better person - lots of douchebags smoke pot.

Uptight people who see themselves as superior for NOT smoking pot tend to be far worse (see many posts by Keystone Phil and Simfan).
