I'm really torn between Sinclair and Kefauver. I'm reluctant to vote out a President I support, but Kefauver looks great.

I'll wait and see how things evolve...

There's another argument in favor of giving it to Sinclair: the other candidates that received votes are clearly closer to him ideologically than to Ike. It's fair to assume that Sinclair would have won a head-to-head matchup.

While I'm sure that's true about the Hass voter, I wouldn't be too sure about the Kefauver voters picking a socialist over a moderate war hero.

I almost voted Kefauver, and only backed Sinclair because of tactical reasons and fidelity to the incumbent... so I can try to speak for them. Wink
