FF, but 2nd rate compared to Colbert

Is it bad that he's probably one of the least biased news sources?

Who, Colbert?

Colbert (or at least his persona) is to the right of Rush Limbaugh.

BRTD, did you just use unnecessarily insert "like" into a sentence THAT YOU WERE TYPING? Why the hell would you do that? Ever?

It's a stand in for "about".

No, it isn't. It's a thing teenage girls do.

It's for effect. Language is versatile.

I used "like" this way a couple times while talking to people. I wouldn't use it while typing though.

Colbert (or at least his persona) is to the right of Rush Limbaugh.

It's hard to peg a satirical persona politically. I can't remove the satire, so it makes it appear that he is really left wing.

There's no way to peg is degree of actual left-wingedness, either. All we know is that, since making fun of conservatives is his main business, he's probably not one. Tongue

Wow... Seeing him outside of his persona is a weird experience. He doesn't look right.

Don't watch his show enough to have an opinion, but he seems ok.
He's kind of funny, although I don't really watch him either.  I still don't get why people consider him and Colbert to be hard journalists.

Major FF. His show is far more substantive and informative than most "news" entertainment.

Does anybody actually think that?  Though I'd bet that they talk more about real news stories on average than the cable news networks do.  They never talk about the "missing white woman of the month" unless it's to make fun of the "mainstream" national news for covering it...for example.

They're not, but neither is Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity, Cavuto, or O'Reilly.
