If he has a strong showing in the Moon primary, all bets are off.

There are very few politicians interested in the race with lower chances to win than Gingrich, but somehow I would enjoy seeing him as the VP, or something like that.

His chances are null, but I would love to see him run again, if only for the entertainment value Gingrich brings.

Newt ran in 2012 for one reason only...to make money selling books, DVDs, his services, etc. My bet is the campaign was a huge boost to his income and profile and so there is no reason he wont do it again. This time however I doubt he ever becomes a flavor of the month or wins a state.

I think his campaign was in trouble, financially.

As a matter of fact Newt staked and lost almost everything with his 2012 campaign, and I think he's still heavily in debt. But yes, he's the kind of candidate who makes things interesting... A debate between him, Ben Carson and Christie would be the most fun thing to watch.

You should, then, be concerned about his waffling ON EVERY ISSUE.

Newt goes where the money goes, my friend.

What better way to spend 5 trillion dollars?

If Hillary runs, Newt will be too scared.

If it becomes a Rubio slugfest or something, I'd consider voting for Newt if he insists on being the ballot as long as it takes to get to Oklahoma.

Newt was my favorite of the 2012 primary candidates to watch. I sure hope he runs to see what other crazy plans he has in store for America.

Newt ruined any chance he had of being a competitive candidate in 2016 because he stayed in the GOP primary well past time.  If he had dropped out after Super Tuesday and saved face (backed Romney or even Santorum within a reasonable time frame) he would have remained with a semi positive image among GOP voters and still considered a "smart, ideas guy", rather than an old buzzard who doesn't know when to quit.

But alas, its over for him, reputation is done.. otoh I still have GOP friends today who say that if Newt had been the nominee he would have won by creaming Obama in the debates.

What a role he played, in the last campaign. Giving Obama the Bain Capital to run on.  He will not run in 2016.
