I support an independent US south as to destroy social conservatism in the USA sooner than when the impacts of changing US demographics(decreasing protestantism, increased secularism and more catholics/liberal christians) and the death of the boomers hit(around 2020-2040).

Kurdistan (Iraqi), Tibet, and Taiwan - though American-backed Tibetan or Taiwanese secession wouldn't be too pretty at this time.

I voted for just Taiwan and Kurdistan. Though to be honest ideally I'd like to the world to broken up into as much as nation-states as possible. (Without violence of course, so in other words an idealistic dream.)

Kurdistan, Chechyna, and Palestine (eventually on the last one, with Hamas in power I would say no)

I don't know why I support these ones, I just do.

I do not support Taiwanese independence.  It's better for Taiwan (and the rest of the world) if it sticks by the 'one-China; two-systems' formulation, and waits for China to eventually liberalize politically as it has already done economically.  Once China has achieved a level of political liberalization compatible with Taiwan's institutions, then and only then should they be reunified in fact as well as theory.

Oh, and to answer the poll, I support the right to self-determination for the Basque region, Kurdistan, Palestine, Tibet, and Aceh.

Palestine doesn't deserve any self determination. They need to be completely expelled with any who resist impaled or some other medieval punishment.

Chechnya, Aceh, and Palestine are the only ones that I don't support. Aceh is basically a movement for a theocratic state, Chechnya would be completely screwed and would most likely succomb to some sort of Muslim theocracy and Palestine is Palestine.

Getting rid of the south would have swong the following elections since the civil war:

To the Democrats:
2004, 2000

To the Republicans:
1976, 1960 (probably depends on what you mean by the South), 1916,  1892, 1884

Democrats who would have won since the civil war would then be:
Wilson 1912
FDR 1932, 1936, 1940, 1944
Truman 1948
maybe JFK 1960
LBJ 1964
Clinton 1992, 1996
Gore 2000
Kerry 2004

Congrats you mental giant, the Sotherners Wilson, LBJ, Clinton, and Gore are presidential winners in another country.....

Your misguided hated for a whole region of the country makes you seem stupid yet again.
