i voted for jesse helms in 1996 senate race.  i am almost embarrassed to admit that.  i wish i could have that vote back!

i absolutely do not regret voting for bush for president twice...even though my admiration for both gore and kerry has risen tremendously in the past few years.  in fact, i wish gore would run for president in 2016!

Barack Obama, 2008. Wish I'd've gone Green.

I often wonder if I should have supported Gravel (though I really dislike his truther sympathizing) or Hillary in 2008.  With hindsight, Obama definitely wouldn't have been my first choice.  I like Kucinich a lot, but his experience has shown that he's not exactly executive material.

If I were as politically aware as I am now, I probably would've rooted for Feingold to run.

My vote in the last federal election. The Tory candidate was not exactly a family values guy in his personal life.

Probably voting for Flanby in the runoff last May. But between him and Poison Dwarf, I guess I still made the least horrible choice.

City Council in 2006. The guy I voted for (who did not win) was later sentenced to 1 year in jail for threatening his daughter with an "honour crime" because she had "dishonoured" their family.

At the time (2009) we had been considering asking him to be a candidate in an election provincially or federally, but then that story came out Tongue

Not sure who I'd vote for in hindsight. Maybe the sitting city councillor (a Red Tory) or one of the lesser fringe candidates.

Of the 9 ballots I have cast so far, there is only one I would change if I could (1st round French Presidential, I'd have voted for Joly rather than Hollande), but I can't say I really regret it.

I regret being too lazy to request and absentee ballot in 2010.

None that I know of, although I kind of feel like I wasted my vote last year on Romney.

I voted for Jon Corzine as soon as the polls opened. I could've held out until noon, at least.

The only elections I've voted are stuco election, and If I could change my vote in one, it would have to be our presidential election two years ago.  The guy I voted for was not really a good president, and my vote would have swung the election to the other person

Obama 2012. The only reason I voted for him was how much i detested Mitt Romney, but things don't seem to be any better than a Romney administration would've been.

There are a few I regret... but none of them matter because I never had any third-party choices or good write-in candidates from amongst whom to select.

Your alternative was Alexi Giannoulias, in fairness.

There were other alternatives. (Although I would vote for Giannoulias in retrospect. The party line vote is more important than whatever ethical issues he has, at least when voting for a seat in a legislature, as opposed to an executive office.)

As an infant, I cast my ballot for Grand Wizard David Duke in the 1990 Louisiana senate race and contributed to his campaign. But in my defense, I only donated a shiny penny I found on the floor that I didn't feel like eating.

None particularly. In hindsight it was stupid to vote for Margaret Anderson Kelliher for Governor in the DFL primary in 2010, because Dayton seemed to be a better candidate and considering the closeness of the election Kelliher would've lost. But since Dayton won the primary and the election anyway it's not like I'm tormented over it or anything.
