My first computer that was just mine?  Windows XP in November 2001.  Followed by Mac OS X "Panther" I believe... whatever 10.3 was called.  It still had the aqua interface that was mostly white with aqua blue buttons.  Apple was still transitioning from the transparent colored plastic to the metal and white plastic phase..

My family's first computer had windows 3.1, though my grandpa donated his computer to the business and that had some version of MS-DOS.... a whopping 640k of RAM and like a 10mb hard disk.  I used to play Digger and Kong and golf on it.  I also remember it had Lotus 1-2-3 spreadsheet software on it that was the primary usage for our resort.

A picture from Wikipedia of Lotus 1-2-3.

Windows 3.1:

Mac OS X Panther

Which hasn't changed all that much:  Mac OS X Mountain Lion (current incarnation)
A picture of Mac running both Windows 7 and 8.

95 or 98, I'm not too sure.

Then I had a Mac sometime in between that, 2000, XP, Vista, 7 (although in a weird order).

My first computer was a TRS-80 Color Computer running Extended Color BASIC.  It was the deluxe model, having the full 32K of RAM that one could have on the machine.  It wasn't long before it was upgraded to have a floppy disk drive.

First family computer:  Commodore 64.

I remember my elementary school had a bunch of Amigas... and they were there, taking up space.... but we never once used them.  But my school still had a lab of 30 Apple ][e computers in 1996... the elementary schools never get the new computers.

Oh, and my tiny Christian middle school had like 10 Ataris in one of the 7th/8th grade classrooms.  (each grade had like 5-10 students so they mixed grades).. but we'd all play a game called Midi Maze, which was amazing.

The first computer I had access to at school (9th grade) was an HP 2000 running Time Shared BASIC as the operating system. I connected to it through a teletype terminal with an acoustic coupled modem and stored programs on punched tape.

The first computer I personally owned was a pc-clone made by Zenith in 1984 called the Z-153 running MS-DOS.

Still surprised nobody has mentioned Commodores.  The Commodores weren't THAT long ago, either!  Children these days don't know the good stuff!
