I know Obama trailed McCain in almost every state in 2006, but still Rubio is really not that strong.

PPP has polled Clinton vs. Rubio in quite a few of the slight Dem-lean states in the past few months, and the results are nearly identical in each one:

MN: Clinton by 13
WI: Clinton by 14
MI: Clinton by 14
PA: Clinton by 15
NH: Clinton by 14

Of course, keep in mind, Rubio still lags well behind Clinton in name recognition.  We'll see how things develop.
