doug wilder vs. george bush vs. ross perot 1992?

what would of happened if then virginia governor doug wilder would have won the 92 democratic nomination (and selected al gore as his running mate).  one thing seems pretty sure, ross perot would have done at least slightly better.

here is a map:



bush/quayle: 40.6%,  265 EV
wilder/gore: 39.6%. 267 EV
perot/stockdale:  19.4%, 6 EV
others: < 1%

what would have happened if, as in this scenario, the election would have been thrown to the house?

ive always thought doug wilder was an interesting character.  isnt he the mayor of richmond or something now?

Wilder would've won with the 92 House. I would've voted for him.
