Committee Chair vote:

GOR
[X] Yankee

Only vote for the committee you are a member on.

I thought this vote wasn't necessary. Tongue

I suppose all those who declare win. I don't have a timeframe on it.

The Committee debate is the SoIA's issues all over again. "It just needs a chance." "We just need to find more for it to do." "All it takes is the right people." We keep shoving more and more onto Committees plates, without any regard for if they're actually useful or not, and with very very very few exceptions, they've been an outright hindrance at worst and a pointless layer of bureaucracy at best. At least streamlining them down to two might result in more fights over seats and more interest in doing things, as opposed to the current situation.

Purple heart

I'm glad we're back to agreeing on things.

I didn't declare for any committees because I think they're useless and stressful. If my absence from the process makes these votes more difficult to organize, all the better. I know that sounds asshole-y, and I don't want to be mean about it... but politically speaking, I'll be the biggest pain in the world when it comes to committees. These things need to go.

We need to replace jdb on the GOR Committee, we also need to consider the fact that the IA committee is now dead and has been for some time. I had wanted to wait on the former until the special occured, but now I am having second thoughts abotu waiting quite that long.
