Option 1, as I basically am one.

Though is the Liberal Scott and the Conservative Torie?

I had the not-so-fond pleasure of being friends with a conservative atheist a few years back. Just awful, really. I'd prefer political homogeneity over religious homogeneity any day.

Sure.

Unfortunately, I don't carry weed.  So you'd best go with Torie if that's what you're looking for.

I seem to be the only one to choose the second option.

I don't like self-righteousness and I honestly think the second would be two massive helpings of it.

I'm a liberal Christian to some degree, so one hand, the thought of there being multiple Bushies scares me, but then again it'd be kind of fun!

Of your many delusions this one that you are somehow a liberal ranks up there as the most annoying.

Liberal Christian, as conservative atheists tend to be selfish.  I know one who isn't, but those two qualities together often indicates it.

Conservative Christians believe that their money should be given to God, not government.  They're more charitable than liberals (because they're more secular overall, though liberal, church-going Christians give more than conservative, church-going Christians) overall and are not selfish, though my extremely liberal science teacher has called them "evil and selfish". Tongue

Conservative atheists, though, are less likely to be charitable and are likely more of the Ayn Rand-type.  This certainly doesn't guarantee selfishness/smugness, but it very well can lead to the formation of it.

I'm not far left, but I'm also not conservative, either.  I'm moderately liberal.  In Oklahoma terms I am a Nancy Pelosi-liberal.

Conservative Atheist would be far more interesting, IMO. It'd be interesting to see the foundation of that dawg's beliefs, and whether he (I assume) were more of a fascist or libertarian. As well, they'd probably be a cooler dawg to hang around with than some hippie liberal Christian.

My RL choice of roommates seems to be an affinity for Option 2, so clearly that must be my choice.

Two of my best friends in undergrad were roommates during our freshman year.  When they first friended each other on Facebook, the one who is queer and butch (her own preferred self-identifications) and atheist from far western North Carolina was horrified to learn that she had successfully fled the sticks to land as the roommate of the daughter of a pastor, and spent every day dreading meeting her soon-to-be roommate.  When said roommate arrived, one of the first things she did was take out a rainbow flag and put it in their window.  And that's when my queer butch friend learned that not all Christians are awful Smiley

Sad

But the Soccer would be fun!

It's ok though. I choose the unlisted option: didn't live at college and never wanted to.

Nah, I'd live with you Phil, don't worry. You'd be the first roommate that wasn't confused when I wake up at like 7am on a Saturday to watch soccer. Tongue

Obvious answer (for me) is obvious, unless the conservative atheist (1) was Torie and (2) didn't toke up in our room.

Nathan and I as roommates sounds like an interesting premise for an IFC sitcom or something.

This reminds me of my "Would you rather have a Christian pot dealer or straightedge atheist as your roommate?" poll, as I once knew of two of those who were roommates with each other.

This is true. They're usually white supremacists also.
