Christie job approval/disapproval: 69% / 24%
Christie fav/unfav: 68% / 27%

Virginia:

McDonnell job approval/disapproval: 61% / 24%
McDonnell fav/unfav: 60% / 24%

Personality and perceived leadership matters more in an a election than the candidates' actual views. I'm surprised it's so extreme with Biden however.

I was surprised when his popularity went UP, not down, during the whole corruption scandal thing.

Pretty incredible that McDonnell can sport an approval rating in the 60s and still trail by 11% in a state that only recently turned purple.
