Tomorrow's the big day: I'm moving into my new apartment! I'm mostly packed, excepted for some food in the fridge, my bathroom stuff, and some dishes that are still drying. If I never post here again, then I likely tried and failed to set up my Time Warner internet at the new apartment because I wanted to save $20 on installation fees and attempt it myself.

Will you be getting the Playboy channel on your cable service?  Smiley

No sir. I require my pornography to be hardcore and illegal in at least one state.

BAD NEWS THOUGH: can't get the key until tomorrow morning, despite what the agent has been telling us for the past two weeks. Couple of greedy c**nts.

Whereabouts you moving to?  You're in NYC, (Columbia, iirc) right?

Passed one year sober this weekend.
In 18 months Ive now lost about 155lbs.
I've had some success in career and personal life of late too.
In short- I'm glad I finally got my act together.

On Monday my psychiatrist gave the the go-ahead to stop taking the antidepressant I was prescribed back in May (I'm still taking the mood stabilizer o/c). Today I started feeling the SSRI Withdrawal and it's pretty much the most annoying thing ever. Like it's not debilitating or anything, it just that every few minutes I feel like my brain got struck by lightning.

Also here's an amusing gif

I've done plenty of drugs in my day. Anti-depressants have the worst withdrawal ever. Ok, so I've never done heroin or cigarettes, and they're probably worse to come off of. But seriously, they suck. And not even helpful beyond placebo levels when one is on them.

Alcohol has a horrendous withdrawal. Take the worst hangover and multiple it by x1000 and mix up some real bad central nervous system disruptions. The booze is a depressant so you have those symptoms also.  I was a consistent smoker at one time and that is a breeze.

Roughly 20 months after I decided to lose the gross amounts of weight I had put on over the years, Im down about 150lbs. Basically have held firm on weight for last few months while losing a pant size and correcting bad posture because of muscle imbalance.

13.5 months off the drink, increase in pay grade at work and learning to enjoy life again.

Surpassed original weight loss goal by 10-15lbs and 4 inches.  Put a 20 year drinking career to bed. Still many goals to achieve as I put them on hold for way too long...

Oh, Hi jmf.
