poor.  dead tired.

Went to a family fitness fest yesterday where they had free food and games and prizes, but the price was to run a 5K fun run.  I actually ran it.  Well, I stopped once for about 20 seconds but otherwise I ran the whole time.  Man, five thousand meters is a long way!  All these 20-something and 30-something guys kept passing me, but I thought, well, they're into running and they're young.  Then children passed me and I thought, well, they're young and excitable.  Then a white-haired woman passed me and I thought, man am I outta shape or what?  Actually, I finished somewhere in the middle.  34:21 was my time according to the big clock at the end.  Not bad I suppose for a middle-aged guy who never runs.  About halfway through a 13- or 14-year old girl with long muscular legs and very short shorts passed me and I decided to keep her about ten feet ahead of me for the remainder and enjoy the view.  She was my inspiration.  The perspiration was all mine.

Today my legs ache.

Pretty good. Gonna go work out later today. Got a paper to type, gonna knock that out of the way at some point, got a pretty good start on it. Also checked out my online class for the first time in a week and a half and I've got a B! Track team's going to states so I gotta hang out at that at some point. Only thing really bringing me down right now are thoughts concerning a high school band concert tomorrow and having to work later in the week.

All things considered, I'm doing okay.  It could be a lot worse, I could have been among the tornado victims.  Yet, my life and my home were spared.  I am very blessed.

Well, really there's no reason not to say excellent except that it isn't as good as yesterday, when I had a thoroughly enjoyable assignation with a lovely 20 year old friend of mine. Wink

I still feel great though, and had a nice lunch and dinner and did no work.  So, I'll say 'good'.

Inventory/warehouse clerk and such at a produce company here.  A couple months ago was laid off from an affiliate produce company and got hired here for less pay~ woo

Well, I applaud your efforts to improve things.  Best of luck, friend.

Voted Good. I took back the pop cans and got $15.30. I used $9 to buy a steak for tonight. I will be going over to a friends for steak dinner and to watch the Red Wings beat the Blackhawks.

Pretty good actually, which is fairly rare. Feel like I've hit the stride with my latest novel, and hopefully will make a lot of progress with it in the coming days.

Tired.

I woke up at 5am on about four hours of drunken sleep, stayed in bed debating whether or not I have saved enough money to quit my job until 5:33am, when I changed into my work clothes and ran to the train station to make my train to the bus stop, then ran to the bus stop to catch my 5:59am bus to work, began work promptly at 6:20am, finished work at 5:53pm, got driven home by a coworker, and have been drinking since putting my clothes in the washing machine at 6:36pm.  I'm on track to get about four hours of drunken sleep.  Rinse & repeat.

Only three more days until the weekend, though, which is nicer than four.

So the results are in.

Yesterday 56% of you were doing better than "extra medium" and 44% of you were doing worse than "extra medium."

36% of people were Meh/Poor while 40% were Excellent/Good. 20% were a little better or worse than "Extra Medium."

You're down-to-the-minute timing sounds like one of my posts!

Anyway, I am quite well today.  After getting some good sleep last night, I no longer felt like I was going to lose it at any time.  It rained off and on until about 1700, so I stayed inside and relaxed.  At 1845, I went to my cousin's to help put her kids to bed.  I got home about 2120 and have been winding down since.  I'll probably go to bed about 0030.

Why can't your cousin put her kids to bed by herself?
