Are we talking about Jr. btw?

Awfulesome.

One of the few republican politicians that I actually like anymore.  He always seems to give a straight answer.

Incorrect ones based upon disproven fallacies about 'entitlement spending' or 'out of control government', you mean? Huntsman was easily the most willing to throw grandma under the bus of any of the 2012 Republican field; only Ron Paul stood to his right in that regard.

He really isn't. Huntsman should be a Republican in good standing. He wants to put granny in the poor house and give the parasitic rich another round of useless tax cuts.

One of very, very few good Republicans.

At the end of the day, Huntsman still wants to implement policies that would destroy living standards for the vast majority of the American people and force the economy into a perpetual stage of austerity-induced economic depression. That doesn't qualify as 'good' in my book, regardless of how 'sensible' he might be about things like same-sex marriage, an issue that won't affect as many people as will the job-killing austerity programs people like Huntsman regularly advocate.

My second favorite Republican in the 2012 field after Paul, and one of only three I could have voted for. (The other one would have been Gingrich. Huge ego and all, he struck me as a dreamer with his space ideas, and maybe we need a dreamer president.)

FF. If he lightened up a bit on economics I would easily vote for him in a presidential election.

Pretty horrible guy who doesn't deserve as near as much praise as he's getting.  If it weren't for him being a PC "pragmatist" I expect the ratings would be more accurate here.  Pretty much, fawning bias towards the white professional neoliberal class has clouded some people's judgement.  Types like Huntsman are the ones we should fear most, even more so than the holy roller Santorum types.  I would elaborate, but really TNF seems to hit the nail on the head on this dude.

HP, easily.

FF. One of the few Republicans I would consider voting for, though he killed his chances with supporting gay marriage and working within the Obama administration. If this country has to go through another Republican president, hopefully he gets Secretary of State.

Please tell me you're joking.

Huntsman is pro-life, supports drastically reforming entitlements, and supports drilling in ANWR and the Keystone Pipeline.

huntsman isn't that bad. he also supports liberating the iranians, syrians and making sure the terrorists don't hate us for our freedoms by getting rid of the more pesky ones. i'm glad to see such sensible policies prevailing in the republican party.

A right-winger who's considered "moderate" because he accepts the theory of evolution and doesn't want to put gay people in jail.
