What you need is a strong turnout effort. You certainly have my endorsement, and I will do anything in my power to help you fight this recall!

This budget should not be passed for another year, or austerity overlords will destroy the region.

According to the constitution, this ballot should also be printed in Spanish.

Tomorrow morning at 12:00 AM an election will begin. While it's simply an election of candidates it also is a symbol of where our region will be going over the next few months. We've seen far too much harm done to this region, which is unacceptable, and because of it our unemployment shot up and our nation may be heading for a recession. Our opponents however, have tried to justify their actions calling them "necessary". In no way is the end of thousands of Atlasians careers necessary. If they win back to Council and take the office of Governor I can make no guarantees on the future of this region. I see a plausible system of mockery emerging with ridiculous requirements and laws and perhaps attempts to destroy the region by being inactive, but there's no way of knowing.
I will accept the results of the Election, whichever way they may lean, and if I lose I will leave the region for either the Mideast or Midwest. I cannot and will not live under a system which destroys the regional government and attempts to justify it, it just isn't worth it.
      Thank you,
                  Spamage

I think this may be the start of an interesting power struggle between NMAMers and non-NMAMers in the Pacific.

I don't really like that way of winning a seat while holding another office, then let the Governor decide whoever he wants to appoint. Seems to render the vote pretty pointless. But hey the people could also not have voted for you so I guess...

As we as a region recover from the events not only from the last few weeks, but the last few years as well due to inactivity, we must redeem ourselves not only in the eyes of other regions but in our own eyes. I appoint NVGonzalez to the vacant Council seat for this very reason. While he was recalled as Governor I have every reason to believe he will be a terrific councillor. He truly cares about the region and will have my support.

With the recent troubles are region has been facing I think its clear we need some new voices giving their insight on the future of the region, not more of the back and forth bickering which has taken place since the Final Constitution (which I myself, sadly participated in). We need someone new in the Council with motivation and that's why I'm appointing TyrionTheImperialist  to the vacant Council seat.
