No, My aunt was speeding in Little Rock in 1990 when she was pulled over.  The state trooper told her that if she wanted to get out of the ticket, she could go to the governor's office to meet with him for an hour or so.  She didn't do it.

The statement just disgusted me.  It didn't make me leave the party, but when I heard it, I started to move away from the party.  My leaving the party took 3 years and many different things.
