HP for blocking Nixon's UHC plan, sympathizing with the IRA, and Chappaquiddick despite an otherwise fine legislative record.

Mega, Ultra, Super FF for this moment, if not for his push for UHC, immigration reform, education reform, and peace in Ireland.

I think someone who was deeply, deeply flawed - but I think evolved considerably.

Up until the 70s... I don't think I would have cared very much for him. But especially since the early 90s, he was a massive FF and the Kennedy brother with the lasting legacy.

An extremely flawed human being but one of the all-time greats in the Senate.

Tied with Jack for best Kennedy brother, though he's probably the one that should have been President, what with the legislative acumen he had and such. Definitely a complex figure, but I will vote Freedom Fighter for his steadfast support for national health insurance, defense of labor, and support of a strong union movement.

As a legislator, FF.  Aside from that, HP, as anyone who gets drunk at a party, drives their mother's Oldsmobile off a bridge, drowns a girl inside, and refuses to call police for hours afterward automatically becomes.

Ted is my favorite Kennedy. Unlike JFK and Bobby, he had time to make his own political identity. Dedicated and hardworking legislator. He had many personal flaws, but that makes his only more human.

HP I have this irrational hatred for the Kennedy family. I wish they would go away.
