Great start! Cheesy Please keep going!

Just a few things. I completely agree with the idea that the Midwest will be solid Republican come the 2050s as the Northeast is solid Democratic today (save New Hampshire and Pennsylvania). However, Democrats winning the plains states but losing Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Kansas, etc. stumps me. Is there some sort of farmer populist movement going on in these states just like the 1890s. If so, why these states in particular. Also why do the Democrats win Arizona and Texas but lose New Mexico?
