I hope Bushie finds a real home for this dog.

Is there any chance that James Gandolfini's death at age 51 will serve as a wake up call, Bushie? You're probably in worse shape than he was. At least he was fairly tall.

the atlas is rather boring without bushie around.

but i do look forward to his return and his telling us that he is an african american and that he cant wait to be with 'his babies.'

Yep, and then you can forget about him feeding his dog or changing its water when he's supposed to. He'll be too busy thinking about his "children".

I bet his "children" won't even be the same ones as last time either.

i fear that the dog will be forgotten also when he returns home to 'focus on kenya'

Yeah, that's a given. I'm hoping his parents will find a nice home for it while he is away. Clearly expecting Bushie's parents to do the right thing is a pretty big stretch though.

I've been digging around as well. Haven't found anything too interesting... yet.

I wish Bushie would come back to the US, find this poor puppy a real home and then start dating some crazy Oklahoman woman again. Then we could all have some laughs.

Right now this thread is just darkness.

I'd also like to know who actually locked it and for what reason...

It's not like Bushie to lock it without first making a post about how everyone is being mean to him first.

Since nobody has posted it yet, here's Jamespol's latest comment on Jeff's facebook page:

"Kenya produced Barack Insane Obama. He needs to be deported back to Kenya"

Somewhat surprisingly, none of Jeff's friends have "liked" the comment!

I wonder when the last time Papa Bushie got a vacation was.

Sometime before Elvis died on his throne.

Are you going to tell your dad you want to live full time in Kenya within the next year to year and a half?

Is the dog ok?

I'll tell him when I get home.  The old man needs time to get used to the idea, as well.

He just sent me a picture of JJ, so she's okay. We found out she squats instead of lifts a leg, so she's a girl.
Got to be a troll post. You don't have a dog for that long and not know the sex.

We knew early on, I just hadn't switched it on the forum, yet.

... the hell?

Plus, we butted heads a few times in Kenya.  We did butt heads like a normal husband/wife, though.  Mostly, being the gentleman I try to be, I was on the receiving end and didn't counter with much.

Is this a euphemism?

Damn, Bushie is a kinky fellow.

Do you actually pick the children up out of the pool, Bushie?

Also, do you often eat at the children's table at these parties?

It's comforting that Sbane wants Jeff Junior to suffer in the OK heat when there is a cool home 5 feet away.

It has nothing to do with what I want. If I had a dog, I would keep it inside because keeping it outside would defeat the purpose. But it is extremely hilarious to hear that a dog is going to die because it's 85 degrees outside. Talk about sheltered....

It may not roll over and die but it would certainly suffer if it were left outside day after day in temperatures like that or higher. This isn't really debatable.

No one said OMGZ 85 WILL KILL HIM.  The OK forecast of 95-104 will. Sub-freezing will. Plus you are more responsible than Bushie, though this is the first time I've had my doubts.

He's defending me, so you are now attacking him and questioning his judgments?  Classy move.  You seem to gloss over that he comes inside anything in the 90's.  We'll talk about the winter when we get closer.

So when someone defends you, we're automatically supposed to assume that they're right and we're not allowed to question their position? Mmkay.

I hate to say this but I'm seriously starting to think about abandoning The Update. It' not fun anymore and the whole dog thing is just making me angry.

Does anyone understand why he even wants a dog when he's supposedly going to be moving to Kenya in a couple of years? Does he not understand that owning a dog is like a 13 year commitment (give or take a few years)?

Does anyone else find it slightly disturbing that the Bushie clan now has female dog that they've named Jeff Junior? Do Bushie's parents see him as a pet or something? Freud would have had a field day with this family.

They're not necessarily right, but they're not necessarily wrong, either.  Perhaps I don't look hard enough, but I have NEVER seen an instance where someone defends me and the forum relented and realized they and me were right.  Not once.  This forum seems to think that Bushie is ALWAYS wrong.  I know I am right some of the time.

I've defended you more than a few times myself. For instance, I certainly never saw anything wrong with you making the most of your Indian health coverage.

You are in the wrong an awful lot though. I think you should seriously think over this whole dog ownership thing, especially if you're at all serious about moving to Kenya in a couple of years.

What if everyone here went on Update strike for a week, in protest of the treatment of Blondie?  Would Bushie go mad if he suddenly found himself posting about his life without getting any attention from the rest of the forum?

If even just you, I, Grumps and Duke stopped posting in here that would lower the amount of activity quite a bit. Heh.

One other thing - I'm happy that he's lost some weight if that's actually true. I remain highly skeptical though.

Like Grumps, I looked at the Kenya pictures. I'm not trying to be mean but he really does look bigger than ever. It's legitimately alarming. I really hope he figures out a way to get the help he needs on that front before it's too late.
