None of the currently certified measures particularly stand out but I think all the annual state ballot measures makes for an interesting thread topic in general and there's probably going to be another 15 or so measures that qualify for the Nov. 2013 ballot in the coming months.

(Note - All states allow for the state legislature to refer a measure to the ballot, even the ones in grey on that I&R law summary map in the link above: http://ballotpedia.org/wiki/index.php/Forms_of_direct_democracy_in_the_American_states )

I-517 has Tim Eyman's stench all over it. No doubt to protect the assholes he has patrolling the  vehicle waiting areas on the Seattle-Bremeron ferry who keep knocking on my damn windows.

Looks like the final count for Nov. 2013 is 31 measures with only three of them being initiatives (1 in CO, 2 in WA) and the rest being referrals.
