And this is all moot only if Romney doesn't lose in 2006, and that's a very big if.

I thought, even with his good looks that Romney was a big underdog in 2002. O'Brien was a perfectly fine candidate. She even had Saint Hillary come to support her. I saw the debates and the ads. I think the voters of Massachusetts just like having a GOP governor to keep an eye on the veto-proof Dem legislature.

You may be right, but it's a pointless exercise, especially since it is a veto proof majority.
