I'd like to see Nader on the ballot, especially in all the battleground states.  Requirements vary from a low of 25 signatures in TN to 93,000 in FL.

Although NJ is about as far from a battleground state as you can get, I’ve decided to take some action to affect the Nov. election.  I called the Div. of Elections and got a petition kit to help get Nader on the ballot in NJ.   He only needs 800 signatures by June, though they must be from independents only.

Is anyone else doing more than just post on line?

I remember in August I got on Gephardt's mailing list somehow...it was scary.  All of his e-ails were entitles "The Deanslayer" or "The Deanwhacker".

I got my autographed picture of the President and Mrs. Bush at the ranch.  haven't framed it yet though.  got my petition to get ralph on the ballot in CA and have around a hundred names over the last two months with little effort.  I'm sure the folks at Tammany Hall are stocking up on cigarettes and booze just to make sure the riff-raff is sufficiently motivated to get to the polls in new york, just in case things go badly for Kerry.  Florida hotels will probably be booked starting November 1 with lawyers and journalists.  It'll be a nasty one again this year, folks.

Tammany hall is not really active in the presidential election.  We try to to stay out of national politics, don't want the feds spewing their stuff 'round here.

We do mayoral elections though.  Why do you think dinkins won?  Heh!

If edwards is on the ticket, i'll letterbox, placard wave and doornot. Otherwise, depends who he choses.

I'll vote for him, anyway-and make sure my dad never makes it to the polling booth Wink (He is a Republican)

Nice.

Republican plan:  spend money, offer voters more choices, and campaign

Democrat plan:  limit free speech, complain that more choices is 'bad' and hide parent's keys

Read the newest Atlantic magazine. It has good articles on Bob Shrum, Sargeant Shriver, politicians & humor, and an article from Dean's pollster anylizing the campaign.

I am doggone frightened of the Gephardt.
