So according to the constitution, now that Tyrion is gone we need to elect a President Pro Tempore from amongst ourselves to handle the duties of Archduke before a special election is held in what I believe is...eight days now?

There isn't really a procedure set up for this, so I'm not sure who is supposed to run the vote. But I'll put my name forward for the position if nobody else really wants it; I just want to get things moving again.

I assume Gass runs it? In any case, I support Dereich for the position.

I certainly won't oppose Maxwell's nomination. Is there even a need for a formal vote if all of us are in favor of Maxwell?

In the interest of time, I would say no, there's not a point in holding a vote if everyone is in agreement.

Two things;

1. There needs to be another election for PPT

2. I apologize, but I must resign.

Ok then.

Seeing as the TNF-storm has passed, we should get back in business. Does anyone want to put their name forward for PPT?

Given that there's not a presiding officer, I'll pretend I can be one.  Let's give 24 hours for any more nominations and debate... so the nomination period will close at 12:00 (noon) CDT on July 24th.  And then 24 hours for a vote, again closing at 12:00 (noon) CDT.

Okay, it's been more than 24 hours, and the only nominee is Dereich.  Dereich, do you accept this position?

Congratulations!  It is now up to you to appoint a temporary Archduke and temporary Regional Senator, with replacement elections to be held this coming weekend.

Now that the election is over does one of us need to be elected President of the Assembly? Do I continue in the office?
