For some reason, it doesn't show up in most election result graphics, including those on the Atlas. It does show up in DRA, though. From that, it looks like it's pretty democratic, just like the rest of the state.

I also remember reading something on here a couple days ago that said its results are listed in Hawaii's precinct results, but that the Kalawao County precinct that's listsed doesn't actually have them, and that the actual results are listed as a precinct for Maui County.

Does anyone know why this is?

Kalawao isn't a full county.  The only county government they have is a sheriff appointed by the Department of Health from one of the residents there.  The sole purpose of giving Kalawao some county powers was to avoid having the Maui County government having to come into contact with the lepers there and thus run a risk of catching the disease.
