I suppose that this is somewhat important, as the baby will be head of state in the future.

Well all it takes is a socialist being elected/installed PM, and capitalism will ensure that eventually.
Yes, socialism will change the UK forever. Just as Blair and Brown.

We're not sure if this will be King George VII or King George VIII either.

Charles has said that when he's coronated, he'll probably change his name to George.

Actually, Charles had issued a non-denial denial leaving open the possibility.  Still if he does decide to not be Charles III, George VII is the only logical choice.  I can't see him or any English monarch being brash enough to reign as King Arthur and being crowned King Philip II would bring up a thorny bit of history.

Prince William is pretty much stuck with being William V, as Philip, Arthur, and Louis are not really viable options.

Only time will tell if Prince George chooses to reign as King Alexander IV or not.

forgiveness please...who were Philip I and the first three Alexs?
Philip I was married to "bloody Mary" I and the first three Alexanders were Scottish Kings, if I am correct. I believe they combine numerals if the name has been used in England and Scotland at seperate times.

Gah. Another person to continue the cycle of oppression.

?? Is this serious?? Are there still Americans don't know most Monarchies are constitutional democracies? What do you think Canada, Holland or Japan are?
Not to mention Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Belgium, the Netherlands. Or and Luxembourg.
You guys do know he was being sarcastic right?
