Mandatory arrest upon evidence of domestic violence.
More funding and services for victims of domestic violence.
Encourage fathers' participation in child raising.
Mandatory paternal tests for pregnant minors funded by federal and states.
Gay adoptions are better than growing up in the system.
Gays should be allowed to adopt.
Provide WIC and food stamps for low income parents.
Written parental consent for minors to have abortions.
Written guardian consent for the incompetent to have abortions.
Limit abortions to incest, rape, damaged fetuses, and hazards to the mother's life.
State should provide low income parents with school vouchers to be used within the county.
Allow parents to homeschool their kids, but encourage public or private education.
Keep the child tax credit where it's at.
Repeal gas tax especially when families with children drive more.
Remove marriage tax for couples making less than $400,000 annually.
Encourage families to invest in 529's for college tuition.

Mandatory arrest upon evidence of domestic violence.
Without a trial? I'm all for preventing domestic violence, but everyone obviously deserves his or her day in court.

More funding and services for victims of domestic violence.
Yes.

Encourage fathers' participation in child raising.
Yes, with paid parental leave.

Mandatory paternal tests for pregnant minors funded by federal and states.
No. This seems intrusive.

Gay adoptions are better than growing up in the system.
What?

Gays should be allowed to adopt.
Duh

Provide WIC and food stamps for low income parents.
Yes, but make them more generous, and add in a universal basic income for all, with a higher minimum wage, too.

Written parental consent for minors to have abortions.
No. If you're old enough to get pregnant, you're old enough to make that decision.

Written guardian consent for the incompetent to have abortions.
The 'incompetent'?

Limit abortions to incest, rape, damaged fetuses, and hazards to the mother's life.
No.

State should provide low income parents with school vouchers to be used within the county.
Absolutely not. Private schools and charter schools should be nationalized and the rich forced to go to school with everyone else.

Allow parents to homeschool their kids, but encourage public or private education.
No, homeschooling is antisocial and should be banned.

Keep the child tax credit where it's at.
Just make it into a guaranteed child benefit for all.

Repeal gas tax especially when families with children drive more.
No, make public transit cheaper and expand it.

Remove marriage tax for couples making less than $400,000 annually.
Remove all tax incentives that encourage marriage, period.

Encourage families to invest in 529's for college tuition.
Don't know what that is. Just make college free and encourage more kids to not go by increasing wages for blue collar work, more apprenticeships and trade schools, etc.

It's a way to invest in college from birth through 9th grade. Anyone can contribute to one. It's just a fancy way of saving money for college as opposed to a bank account. They're tax deductible up to $4,000 contributions.

What do you mean by "encourage investment in 529's"?

I know what 529's are. When you said "encourage" did you mean you were going to add some sort of incentive to invest in 529's?

What about this? If a student graduates from a state university or state college, then the state reimburses their debt up to only owing $15,000 per school year minus what's already been paid towards tuition. This means that no student who receives a 4 year degree will owe more than $60,000 minus whatever they've paid towards tuition. For students who go for 5 years to complete a degree, they would only owe $75,000 per school year minus whatever they've paid towards their tuition. If you think about it, that's about $250-$260 a month from birth to age 18.

Mandatory paternal tests could save money we spend on WIC and food stamps. If the father is capable of financially supporting the baby, then he should be doing it instead of the government. It also lets us know if the minor was taken advantage of depending on the age difference. As for gay adoptions, someone else asked what I meant. What I was saying was I'd rather see a child grow up in a gay home than growing up in the system of going to different foster homes every other year. 529's are a fancy way to invest for college which include tax breaks for donations up to $4,000 and can be active from birth through 9th grade. I think the child tax credit should go up to 4 children and Bush was right to expand it to where he did.
