Along with the general elections is held a new referendum championed by the Radicals, but also endorsed by many politicians from the left. It would liberalize the regulations surrounding medically assisted reproduction and stem cell research. Though it would not repeal all regulations, it would make both these practices much more easily accessible.

Note1: Remember that voting YES means supporting the REPEAL of an existing law. If you are confused as to what exactly voting yes/no entails, re-read the descriptions, or feel free to ask me.

Note2: The quorum requirement means that a referendum's result will only be taken into account if at least 25 voters turn out.

There is more on the Italian wiki page, but it's very technical and it would take me a while to understand and explain what exactly this does. Sorry. Tongue

Okay, maybe Mike Johnson is a competent parliamentarian.

No. It will, however, of course pass.
